Selected candidate will primarily work on Molecular Dynamics (MD) and Density Functional Theory (DFT); calculations of Energy Materials (e.g. Atomistic Modeling of Lithium Ion Batteries; Nanomaterials/Nanoparticle for Energy Storage and Conversion)
Candidate must be motivated for advanced research S/he needs to have persistence, perseverance, strong determination and dedication.
Other duties as assigned.
The position requires a PhD degree within Nanotechnology, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical Engineering
Background in Density Functional Theory (DFT) is a must. Must have proven knowledge of working with DFT codes such as VASP, ABINIT, etc.
