The Process Services Portfolio Manager is responsible for the definition, development, deployment, performance, and measurement of Rockwell Automation's process services. This role will require the creativity and knowledge to evolve existing services offerings, create new service offerings for the Process market. Also, this role is responsible for collaborating with multiple service and technology business units to enhance our products to support service delivery and expansion.
Position Summary key objectives:
Evolution and integration of existing Rockwell Automation service offerings across multiple service Business Units to grow services for the Process market.
Drive alignment between technology and services roadmaps to meet changing Process customer demands
Development and execution of multi-year business plans.
Development of sales enablement marketing, messaging, and sales tools
Act as subject matter expertise in the education of sales team on value and content of services portfolio
Development of TCO examples for different industries to serve as cornerstones to promote service value
Regular collaboration with multiple key partners on services portfolio performance, market needs and portfolio roadmap
Collaboration with marketing to create industry and applications specific services messaging
Interaction with Customers to understand and quantify Industry problems and opportunities
Analysis of competitive services and solutions offerings
Development of service delivery process and training to assure proper competency to deliver services for the Process industries
Development of and tracking of key performance indicators Measurement, Management, forecasting and regular readouts with senior management of critical success measures including but not limited, funnel activity, orders, revenue, margin, resource utilization and market conditions.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology or related technology driven degree.
5-8 years of experience in Services /Product / Business Management and/or Marketing.
Experience with one or more process control system vendors in the Process industry or success as an end-user managing services for plant or fleet
A minimum of 5 years of the industrial / process industry experience.
Proven Leadership skills to motivate and influence direct and indirect reports to embrace new concepts and solutions
Self-motivated and self-managed towards objectives.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal communications, organizational and written/verbal communication skills
Previous experience working as part of a large, multi-disciplinary team.
Proven ability to manage multiple internal and external partner relationships while achieving target outcomes
Exposure to Process Control Systems including PLC, HMI/SCADA, plant historian.
Flexibility for travel 25% -50% is required within North America, Some global travel required
