To provide instruction in support of the Electrical Engineering program beginning Fall 2020 for courses in Electrical Engineering such as, but not limited to; Programmable Logic Circuits, Continuous Control Systems, Digital Integrated Circuit Design with PLDs and FPGAs, Electromagnetics, and Digital Design. Additionally, to provide instruction of lower level Computer Science courses, especially JAVA and C++.
Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and prior teaching at the university level.
Preferred to have advanced course work in Computer Science or PhD in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Computer Science; experience teaching both electrical engineering courses, as well as lower-level Computer Science courses such as Introduction to Computer Science, JAVA, and C++.
Essential Functions and percent of time::
80% teaching; 20% service.
Special contract terms and conditions of employment apply. Length of contract: 1 year Instructor. This position is eligible for renewal upon successful completion of the first contract term.
