Princeton University Princeton University invites applicants for an assistant professor position in the field of sustainable energy science, engineering and technology in the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment (acee.princeton.edu). We invite candidates from all disciplines in engineering and the sciences to apply. The successful candidate will be jointly appointed between the Andlinger Center and an academic department consistent with the candidate's expertise. We are specifically interested in candidates with a strong track record and expertise in energy storage. Energy storage systems of interest include energy storage technologies (e.g., batteries, capacitors, compressed gas, flow cells, fuel cells, hydroelectricity, liquid fuels, superconductors, thermal management), energy infrastructure (e.g., carbon capture linked to energy storage systems, integration and maximized efficiency of stored energy into electricity grids, integrating storage systems into the energy economy), and others. We are particularly interested in qualified candidates who can contribute, through their research, teaching, and/or service, to the diversity and excellence of our academic community.
